What started off as simply flipping furniture bought in estate auctions and garage sales, quickly turned into a passion. Fixing scratches, chips, and dents made us realize that there was more that could be done. Simply making a piece of furniture sellable or presentable was not enough anymore. Looking back we realized these pieces each had their own story. By restoring furniture, we not only give these pieces life again, but we also keep their originality. Adding in some color only adds to their character which in turn only adds to their beauty. By the grace of God the idea of Shalom Furniture flourished.
What was once a job and a means of survival has now turned into something we love doing as a family. With Jesus Christ as our compass, we strive to make each piece of furniture as beautiful and unique as possible. Each piece is restored and painted as if it was to go in our own home.
